This week I read a story called Harrison Bergeron in the GreatBooks. The story is about the future and the year is 2081. Everyone is equal and no one should ever be better than anyone. There is a person that got arrested for being way to different. Then he broke out of jail being the new ruler and he wants everyone to be different. He said the first on to get up will be my queen. Then the handicapped captain found him with a ballerina and shot them. The camera was still on when he got shot but, then his dad saw it then forgot all about it. He forgot it because he has a handicapped that makes you forget a every smart or important thought. Also this Wednesday through Sunday is the book fair! Book fair is really cool if you love books. Book fair has lots of books that you can buy and other little things to buy. I want to buy a book that is called "Guinness World Records 2016, Guinness World Records 2016 Block Buster, and Guinness World Records 2016 Gamers Edition. I always get the Guinness World Record books. I also did Star Testing this week. Star testing is to prove if you gotten better than the other test you had. It tells the teacher how you are doing. When you get up to 7th grade than the High School your going to is going to check it. This week we had to read chapters 15-25 in "Heart of a Samurai." There was a Princess Penelope packet that shows literature devices. We had do do our own story with literature devices. I really like mine its name is Prince Pablo it's like Princess Penelope but, a little different.
This week was really interesting because the class and I learned about the "N" word on Wednesday and it was also MLK Day on Monday. It was also National Popcorn day on Tuesday. I was going to get a bag a popcorn but, then I forgot. On Thursday we watched a video about what the Book Fair has. I only want two books that the book fair has. I always get a book overtime that the book fair comes to the school. I also learned a lot about the "N" word in English Language Arts. The "N" word is actually not a bad word. It depends how you say it like if you are just talking normally than
This school years open house is really hard because the class has to do 4 projects for open house. I am stressed out and I bet that other people are too but, I am trying to finish everything early so I can feel relieved of all of this stress. Open house isn't the only time students are stressed. There are also finals and lots of homework that teachers give us all at once to do. ELA, Science, and Social Studies are the three subjects that give us lots of homework. In ELA we have to do the questions for Heart of a Samurai and we also have to read The Heart of a Samurai. In science class we have to do questions and also when we are don with the chapters we have to do a big chapter review. Social Studies we have to do a lesson every two weeks and do a test for that chapter.

This winter vacation I went to many places like Monterey Bay, Universal Studios, for Grinchmas, I had family and friends come over, I went to a party for New Years, I watched the Star Wars the Forces Awakens, and more. I also got lots of presents for Christmas and my favorite one was the 3DS that I got. I also got clothes, lego dimension pack, a game for my 3DS, money, gift cards, and etc. This Christmas was great and exciting because I had lots of fun and adventure. I went to Universal Studios and what I did there was go on the tram because they had a special Grinchmas show in the lower lot where they have lots of sets. What I did at Monterey was go to many restaurants, all of them were excellent and perfect. I also went to the aquarium and the bay. I stayed at a hotel that had a really comfy beds and couch. I also liked that I had a porch to see the scenery. My favorite parts of my whole vacation was when I spend time with my family, watched the new Star Wars movie, ate delicious food, and when I got my new 3DS. I was really stressed out about school. |
